CSO Partners works towards incubating innovative solutions to social problems by identifying infrastructural gaps within the social sector. The aim of this is to promote replicable and sustainable programme models in identified areas. The kinds of support that are provided to the identified social innovations are: 1. Idea Formation: Social innovations go through varying stages of development. CSO Partners supports the process of idea maturation. This process involves nurturing ideas which are in their nascent stages, and providing the required support services in order to develop them into structured programmes. Examples of the social innovations which have been incubated by CSO Partners are: UnLtd: Unltd India finds, funds and supports early-stage social entrepreneurs – individuals with new ideas, passion and entrepreneurial skills – to successfully bring about long-lasting solutions to the social problems around them. Corporate Disaster Resource Network: The Corporate Disaster Resource Network (CDRN) is a web based supply chain management system that helps disaster management agencies and local governments to access and feed in real time information on products and services required for emergency humanitarian relief. CDRN was set up by CSO Partners and Aidmatrix under the auspices of the National Disaster Management Authority. Rang De: Rang De is a non-profit organization with a vision to make poverty history in India by reaching out to underserved communities through microcredit. They do this through a network of committed field partners and social investors and offer microcredit that will have a positive impact on business, education, health and environment of the communities they work with. |
